About Character Design Workbook
Character Design Workbook is our amazon kdp pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. designmela01 is the name on the listing. It sits at 7 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
An interior has to match the trim size you intend to publish at, so check the page size and the bleed before falling for the layout. The obvious job for it is animal character design, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for canva template, cartoon character practice, cartoon drawing workbook and character creator and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same template, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The neighbouring searches are low content, interior, notebook, logbook and book interior — worth a look if this particular template is close but not quite it. We keep it under KDP Interiors and Low-Content Books, which is where to look if you want the rest of the kdp interiors and low-content books we have gone through.

How to use this template
- Download the file from Creative Fabrica and open the licence first — commercial resale is granted separately, and a template you cannot sell is a template you cannot use.
- Open the Canva link with «Use template» so you edit a copy; files for print come as a PDF at the trim size stated in the listing.
- Change enough to make the listing yours — fonts, palette, cover, order of pages. The same untouched template is already on the first page of search.
- Export a test copy at final size and read it on a phone before you upload: that is where most buyers will look at it first.
