Some links on this site are affiliate links. Buy through one and this site earns a commission; the price you pay is unchanged. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Why there are links
This site is about the products themselves — what to sell, what to give, what is worth the shelf space. An article that will not name a product is not doing its job, and naming one means linking to it. The commission is what pays for the time spent comparing them.
How something gets recommended
- Listings are read for the detail that decides whether it works: materials, sizes, what is actually included, what buyers say broke.
- Reviews are read for the failure pattern, not the star average. A product with a good average and a repeating complaint does not make the list.
- Commission rate never affects the order. A higher-paying item does not move up, and items with no affiliate programme at all are included when they are the right answer.
- Anything that turns out to be discontinued or consistently badly made is removed from the article, not left with a note.
Where links appear
Product roundups, gift guides, and comparison articles. Idea and how-to posts that recommend nothing to buy carry no affiliate links.
